Limit the time!
Video games are not the problem. It is the parents who don't monitor their children. If you have children, you should know what they are playing and how long they are playing. Don't use video games as a babysitter either!!!
Hmmm
I don't think playing video games it bad for kids but i do think that the ratings on games do need to stick. I dont think parents should let 10 years olds play games that are rated Mature. Some kids do get ideas in their heads that stuff on video games like shooting people or gosh on some of them you can even rape women, this is completly wrong and unacceptable for anyone under 18 to play.
wowzers!!!
There are a couple of ways I feel about this. First of all, if children have a time limit on these games and they are playing games for their age, I do not think there is a problem with it. However, the problem starts when children are staying up until midnight playing X rated games and most importantly putting these games before their schooling and education. After all, some of those video games are very very very gruesome!!! Kids should be monitored and watched closely when it comes to this, like I said, if this is handled properly, I do not see a problem with it... :) NICE BLOG BRIT
Video Games
People have tried to pin video games on school shootings and violence when in fact they have a totally different effect I have done many studys and papers on this fact. One fact just from the Justice Department states that youth violence is down 30% since 1993 which is when video games started to boom.

More social confidence?
I don't think so. What's wrong with interacting with other children face to face? Some of the most confident people I know have never played video games.
